We are so lucky to get this cottage on the 'quiet side' of Mount Desert Island in Maine ... for $200.00 a week! Yup, that's right. Because it's off-season. We HATE the tourists (gee, aren't WE the tourists...? NOT!) and always try to go in May.
oh GOD, I can taste that lob-stah!....Still warm, but not expensive. The only thing you have to make sure is that you don't go too early, since the restaurants aren't always open. We're taking mom, so it should be fun.
Planning to take some quilting (hand-work) with me...

WOW, what a great price ...Keith and I have been talking about a trip to Maine and maybe renting a house (we usually stay in hotels) obviously I need to search harder!
