This photo was taken on a very windy day, so I had to hold this bud still while taking it. It was after Thanksgiving day 2009....
Three weeks later, this is the last rose of summer (I get to see this out my window as I work on my computer).
Somehow, bringing it inside seemed sacrileious; it even had frost on it.
